( the “Company”). These rules require that websites and apps obtain the consent of users before collecting any personal information and that they provide users with the right to access, correct, and delete their personal information.

    2.1. What is “Data Collection”?

    Data collection is a process of gathering a user’s information that is provided to Humann with the consent of the user. This Data Collection method is known as Explicit Consent. It is presumably the most legit way for Data Collection. Explicit Consent means that when a user wants to browse through the Humann website, they must provide their consent and agree to the Terms of Service & Privacy Policy of Humann. Henceforth, without your consent, the Humann team would not be able to receive your personal data. Furthermore, you would not be able to avail the features available on the Humann website.

    The Information Technology Act of 2000 (IT Act) and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practises and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules of 2011 both contain provisions that protect these rights.
