  2. This indicates a strong preference for local and spicy snacks among Indian youngsters, as Kurkure offers a variety of spicy and tangy flavours that resonate well with the Indian palate.

  3. Additionally, Lay's also garnered significant support, with around 23.57% of the votes, indicating a preference for more classic and internationally recognized snack options among Gen Z.

Popular Instant Noodles Brand: 

  1. Maggi dominated the instant noodles category, capturing approximately 69.66% of the votes.

  2. Maggi's widespread popularity among Indian youth highlights its status as a convenient and affordable snack option that resonates with Gen Z's fast-paced lifestyle.

  3. The preference for Maggi could be attributed to factors such as its ease of preparation, wide availability, and nostalgic appeal, as many individuals grew up consuming Maggi noodles.

Chocolate Preference:

  1. Dairy Milk emerged as the top choice for satisfying their sweet tooth, capturing approximately 68.13% of the votes.

  2. The nostalgic appeal and affordability of Dairy Milk may contribute to its popularity among Gen Z, as it is a familiar and accessible treat for many.

Best Ice Cream Brand in India:

  1. Amul and Baskin Robbins were the top contenders in the ice cream category, with Amul capturing approximately 25.62% of the votes and Baskin Robbins securing around 25.31%.

  2. Amul's strong presence in the market and diverse flavour offerings appeal to Gen Z's desire for quality and variety, while Baskin Robbins' premium image and innovative flavours attract those seeking indulgent and unique ice cream experiences.

Fast-Food Joint Preference:

  1. KFC emerged as the top choice for a quick bite, capturing approximately 34.63% of the votes.

  2. The popularity of KFC reflects the appeal of fast-food chains offering a variety of affordable and flavorful options that cater to Gen Z's preferences for convenience and taste.

  3. The presence of Subway and McDonald's also indicates a preference for healthier and more familiar fast-food options among some consumers. 

Best Pizza Delivery Brand:

  1. Domino's emerged as the preferred pizza delivery brand among respondents, capturing approximately 37.52% of the votes.

  2. The dominance of Domino's highlights the brand's strong delivery network, customizable options, and value-for-money offerings that resonate with Gen Z's preferences for convenience and customization.

Overall, these findings provide insights into Gen Z's diverse preferences and consumption habits across different food categories. From classic favourites like Dairy Milk to indulgent treats like Baskin Robbins ice cream, Gen Z in India exhibits a mix of nostalgia, convenience, and adventurousness in their snacking choices.
