This suggests that punctuality and timing may be significant concerns for commuters, potentially indicating issues with scheduling or frequency of transportation services.   2. Taxis and buses have emerged as the top choices for public transport. Autos and E-rickshaw lag in this race. 

  3. However, a considerable number of respondents also prefer walking, highlighting a preference for self-reliance for short-distance travel.

  4. Approximately 20.9% of respondents choose to book a cab when faced with unexpected delays in public transport.

  5. Around 19.8% of respondents resort to complaint tweets to express their frustration. Approximately 11.7% of respondents exhibit patience during unexpected delays.

In conclusion, Taxis and Buses are the top choices in India for public transport due to their affordable prices and web of interconnected routes within the cities. 

It must be noted that almost 20% of consumers have shifted to ride-hailing apps to counter their daily commute needs. The most obvious reasons are exclusivity and comfort for a slightly higher price. 

As the business of ride-hailing companies flourishes in India, more people are likely to opt for ride-hailing services over traditional transportation.
